When a solid south swell wraps into the Golfo Dulce, Pavones produces astonishingly long, well-shaped left walls - a goofy-footer's dream and one of surfing's genuine bucket-list waves. It's swell-dependent: between swells it can go quiet, which is when beginners get friendly small days on the inside and nearby beaches.
