Shore Surf School was established in spring 2000 by long term friends Peter Williams and Laurence Couch. Both Peter and Laurence are local surfers and they have an unprecedented knowledge of the local breaks and a passion for teaching.
The aim of Shore Surf School is to provide a safe, friendly and affordable surfing experience which will not be forgotten. Our success is evident in at least 60% of our customers being repeat bookings.
While Shore Surf School are a mobile surf school we operate approximately 90% of our lessons at Godrevy beach which is a National Trust owned and run location situated in St Ives Bay.
Shore Surf School is the most established surf school in the region. In order to maintain a high standard of service both Peter and Laurence (qualified BSA Level 4 Coaches) have remained hands on instructors and are always present to oversee the running of lessons. All Shore Surf coaches are fully qualified BSA instructors, beach lifeguards and all members of Sports Coach UK. In addition to this, all coaches are CRB checked.
